Cheapskates!

Pennypinchers, churls, moneygrubbers, niggards, pikers, pinchfists, scrimps – I HATE them. They have a scarcity mentality and they nickel and dime everyone. I don’t spend any time with them. Frugality is good, but being cheap is not smart when you want to create abundance, friends and happiness. One of the things I have learnt is that I should spend money where appropriate. Don’t take someone to a fast food joint to close a big deal. And don’t spend a fortune on things that show no ROI. But the biggest lesson I learnt is not to do business with tightwads.

Choosing the Career for You

1. Career choice tests. There are a lot of tests out there designed to tell you what kind of career would be best for your personality and skill type. You can find some cheesy ones online that don’t tell you much, or you can go to a career center/guidance center at your college if you are in school or apply at an employment agency that has one. Ask to take a career choice test; I’m sure they will have something for you. These tests are only to help you get ideas, and the results shouldn’t be taken as your fate. Many times they are far from what you were originally planning to do and if thats the case it gives you something to think about.

3) make a lot of money

It’s also been previously mentioned that there are no perfect fundraising events, i.e. one that fits into all three categories.

People make a big deal about making money online. My cousin was one of them.

My cousin Tom used to complain to me constantly about how he hated his job
and how he envied me for the fact that I am able to work at home and support
my family “just by tapping a few keys on your computer”, as he put it.

Home Business Scams

I am not a business major by any means, but I have taken an interest in business, particularly home businesses, since I was in middle school. Even though I have had an interest in business for quite some time, I chose not to continue my college studies within the realm of business as a business major, but rather within science. I currently attend Kansas State University and I am an animal science major. Yet, even with giving my preference to science, I still continue my research of entrepreneurship, businesses, and home based businesses.

How To Manage Business Risks

In spite of the fact that all businesses that are operated by small business owners face high risks, risk factor in small and big businesses is the main overlooked area. Risk minimizing is very crucial, although taking risks in business and winning on risky gambles is fun. It is the same as in any venture that involves risk. Businesses both small and big need to deploy good risk management processes in place. They should have a system that manages business risks continuously through process such as risk analysis and risk quantification.

We live in a time where documents are routinely faked, ending up in legal
tangles for companies who failed to hold a proper employment screening
background
check on their employees. If you hire a new IT guy with a
glowing experience background that blinds you to examine his deeper past,
you could end up getting dragged to court and your company’s name along with it,
when that IT guy is sued for sexual harassment charges. Who could have thought
his mild manner and schoolboy mustache hides criminal records?

How many times have you looked around your small business and said, “There just isn’t enough time in the day to get everything done!” Welcome to the biggest realization you will ever make as a small business owner, my friend: there are only so many hours in the day and there isn’t a darn thing you can do about it.

It’s time to adjust your course again. Time to see where you are and decide where you want to be. Time to check to see what’s working and what’s not. And its time to focus the power of mental marketing to achieve your new goals. This internal and external check up should take place very 90 days-a personal quarterly report, if you will.

Vampires are mythological ‘blood suckers’. They are creatures of the night that you have to be cautious about. If they bite you, you will be infected and become a vampire as well.

In your office too you have a few different types of vampires. These office vampires are of a more dangerous breed as they are able to walk and ‘infect’ people during the day.
